Congratulations to Christine Girard for her performance at the World Weightlifting Championships in Paris, France. Christine finished 7th overall with a 105kg snatch and 133kg C&J in the 63kg class. Her 133kg C&J was also a Canadian records. Christine also finished 5th in the Olympic qualification event, earning valuable points for team Canada. Hopefully her performance along with the other Canadian girls will be enough to earn Canada 3 woman's spots for the Olympics.
